Mrs and Mrs Reese

The founder, Donald J. Reese Sr., started Reese Hardware in 1949 and was located downtown Warren, Ohio.  As times changed, so did Reese Hardware becoming Reese Tool & Suppy Co.  Branching out into products other than hardware including steel doors, lock sets, tapping tools, etc., he opened several locations in Northeast Ohio and Western PA.  Reese Tool & Supply Co. started distributing industrial supply lines including 3M, Cincinnati Milacron.   In early 1970's, the son of Donald J Reese Sr., Stephen R. Reese, started the Metal Service Company as a division of Reese Tool & Supply Co.  Metal Service Company is a full service steel service center.  After the death of S. Reese in 2001, Mary Alice Reese assumed the role of  company president and along with the shareholders are now competing as a woman owned business, completing "Central Contractor Registration" (CCR) requirements as a Small Disadvantaged Business (SBA) with the United States Government.
